The GDP of Civilizations

From the 17th to the 19th Centuries was the growth, development and unfolding of Western Civilization. In the 20th Century:
it bloomed into its own.

It economic, political and military power amidst the collective of its nation states were dominant in the world. One of them was to own the Empire-that-never-set-in-the-sun.

Japan who copied the mechanical technology of the West was the only power in the East that enjoyed the same dominance.

However, it was and is NOT a Western nation in its thinking. It copied the technology of the West.

Today however, the operational basis is very different. It is not copying. It is the process of osmosis of the structures of Western thinking. Much more importantly it is the grasping of the meta-philosophical structures of Western thinking that are the underpinnings of its economic and military power.

Thus, today, China is the product of Western philosophical Marxist philosophy, thanks to Mao Zedong. The result is that its thinking it is rampantly and wantonly morphing into Western capitalist economic thinking.

And one immediate result is its corruption that rivalled that of Wall Street. It has taken extra-ordinary measures by Xi Jinping to bring it to heel; and his anti-corruption drive is expanding even more.

And India is a product of Western Anglo-Saxon thinking. It was bred into it by nearly 300 years of British colonialism and education. Finally it has embraced Western capitalistic economic thinking after its failed Nehrurian tryst with Socialism.

With population of respectively over a billion, the economies of these two civilizations will reclaim there status that they enjoyed for millennia prior to the 17th Century:
to be the top 2 world economic powers.

This is inevitable.

This is a hard fact for the West and especially the United States to embrace. It is harder to embrace that these two top civilizations never warred against each other for millennia.

Today, in the Universities of the West, it is Chinese and Indian students who are earning PhDs with distinction, in droves. There is a story of one University Convocation at which only towards the end was a one Anglo-Saxon named called for his PhD.

It is the sight of such as Kishore Mahbubani that the Mohammedans will follow en suite

Of course we hope that his surmise will be accurate-to-life.

However, we see instead the thinking as prescribed by the Prophet Mohammed, blessed be his name, will remain in situ into divine eternity. The Law of Sharia will punish by death all who think differently.
